]]> Barracuda Builders completed the Smathers Beach Restroom Rebuild located at 1910 South Roosevelt Blvd. This iconic restroom, on one of Key West’s most popular beaches, was in dire need of replacement. This project included a full demolition of the existing coral structure, solid poured concrete walls and roof structure using corrosion resistant rebar, concrete block work, and full installation of stainless steel bathroom fixtures and flood vents for optimum durability on the beach.

The restrooms at Smathers Beach are now ADA compliant, family friendly, and an overall more pleasant place for all beachgoers who need “to go”. Be sure to check out the super sleek outdoor showers on the ocean side of the building.
